Nhân Trần Album Cover
Nhân Trần is a project marking nearly 20 years of Rapper BigDaddy’s musical journey, approached by Đình Collective through the lens of everyday life and street culture — in a way that feels distinctly “Hà Nội”.
The typography draws inspiration from hip hop and skate culture (notably the Thrasher logo), combined with Revue — a typeface deeply rooted in Hanoi’s signage landscape. Together, they form a typographic language that feels both raw and familiar.
From the intentionally “messy” use of typography to details inspired by reliefs on French colonial buildings, carvings found in Vietnamese furniture and interiors; alongside a color palette extracted from very trà đá vỉa hè references — such as green window shutters, strawberry-red Sting, and the faded tones of old French walls.
